About
After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion design I have worked in a variety of fields in fashion ; from Women's RTW in Los Angeles and New York, to ballet costuming for the Houston Ballet, to bridal gowns and alterations, freelance apparel and brand development, to now entirely custom pieces. Each creative endeavor has helped broaden my range as a designer and artist as well as develop my own personal aesthetic.
My love for design originated with my love for dance and defining women’s beauty. Women over the ages have used clothing to express themselves. It has played an integral role in how we present ourselves and establish our place in society. My roots in dance are also reflected in my work. The movement of fabrics. Exploring how it falls and drapes over the body. I draw inspiration from vintage silhouettes as well. Creating garments with a flattering classic feel and a modern minimal twist. Emphasis on hand detailing. It's those small delicate touches that separate one garment from the next.
I want to stay true to keeping my business and my vision very personalized. Allowing my clients to have a hand in the design process from start to finish so that it can speak to more than its physical representation but also to their essence. It is my goal to create custom pieces that will be passed down from one generation to the next.
Designs evolve and styles change, but staying true to creating women's beauty is timeless. Making women look and more importantly feel beautiful, inside and out.
